The lack of economic resources and more in the case of girls- ideological issues prevent minors under 15 going to school. In entreculturas say that poverty is lack of education; a lack of education for those, who because they are poor, don’t have the opportunity of going to school and on the other hand, the lack of education for those who consent to the misery of the considerable part of the planet. According to the Global Campaign for Education, of which entrculturas is a member, during the past decade, certain hopeful progress has been made, in the past 5 years, an estimated 40 million more children go to school. This is due to several reasons such as the diminishing of school fares in the countries such as Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Burundi or the visible increase of the investment in the Latin America. In spite of the progress in education worldwide, there is still a long way to go in order to reach basic universal quality education by 2015, according to the Dakar Commitments, seven years ago. There are 80 million children who, as of today, don’t go to school, out of which 55% are girls. 23 other countries runt he risk of not achieving universal primary education by 2015 since their net school enrollment numbers are decreasing. 89 countries still charge enrollment fares that are on important obstacle for poor families. 40% of kids that live in poverty aren’t even prepared for primary school. 15% of those kids are here in the United States. In Africa only 1.7% of kids are good enough to go to college. 20 million people in the United States including kids, seniors and parents live in poverty and have no access to money or education. 4.2 million people in the United States over the age of 15 and still don’t know how to read or write. 400 million people in total live in poverty worldwide and it’s increasing due to lack of education. We cannot stop poverty without good quality education. The effects of poverty have on children will grow up homeless, unless we give them the education they deserve. The least we can do is give the kids in poverty is a good education and better classrooms to the poor schools. An estimated 1.2 billion people live on less than a dollar a day. 2.7 billion people live on less that $2 a day. The GDP (Gross Domestic Product) of the poorest 48 nations ( of the world’s countries) is less than the combined wealth of the worlds 3 richest people. With illiteracy in poor countries will cause the children to have no education in their life and unable to get a job to support their family. Students may not have any prior school records accessible for new schools. Difficulty placing child due to no records. Child may be very behind other students in the district/school. Schools can have a powerful impact on the academic achievement and success of all children by viewing them as ” at promise” rather than “at risk” and preparing them to reach their full potential. Somalia has the least functional system in the world with just 10% of the children going to primary school, while Eritrea is second worst. Haiti, Comoros and Ethiopia fare almost as badly. In many countries families cannot afford to pay school fees or buy uniforms and books. Nearly 250 million children have to work to help their families and cannot go to school. These are the most educated countries Niger, Eritrea, Burkina Faso, Chad, Guinea, Sierra Leone. Mali, Djibouti, Sudan, Ethiopia. Some children are under their parent’s pressure. Some parents don’t want girls to have education. They think, women should be housewives and take care of their children. Especially, in the East of Turkey their fathers do not send girls to school. Poor children lack education opportunities. Their parents cannot afford school items and more students live far away from their schools. Government must help these students but it cannot help all of them. Some children are handicapped. For example some children cannot see, hear and walk. All around the world, there are many schools for handicapped children. In these schools, skills are developed by their special teachers. For example, last year some handicapped children took part in the show on April 23rd. Education countries in an individual’s life from birth-death and it includes politics, social, cultural and private life, Some problems occur due to absence of education. That is, lack of education has brought many negative effects especially about people’s life and country’s future. The first negative effect is teenagers without education. Under this situation, these people show antisocial behavior and they can lose their skill of communication and this lead to a lack of confidence in people’s life. In addition to that, these people become defenseless against illegal activity. Lack of education lead to many effects about the country’s future. Uneducated people cannot be effective on state administration. Quality education is a necessity to have an important place in the world. High quality education means qualified labor and dynamic society. Whichever country has uneducated youth, it fights with poverty, child labor, human slavery, smuggling and moreover. All over the world, even in some developed countries, everyone unfortunately cannot get the same education especially girls. In order to prevent all of the negative effects of lack of education opportunities, governments, non-governmental organizations and individuals should take responsibilities decidedly and constantly. The different race is a main part of kids not going to school because if you’re a different race and live in mostly white area the kids are sometimes bullied which effects them from wanting to go to school and then they become uneducated. Kids who live in undeveloped countries like South Sudan and Niger are also affected because they don’t have enough money to pay for schools or they are destroyed by war. ” Most of the schools have very poor facilities and anywhere else, they wouldn’t even be called schools, ” Nguyen said. “Its basically a tree and a blackboard.” One big thing that we have to solve is poverty. If we would find a way to solve poverty the world will be so much better. Some other ways that are easier are build their own. Hire teachers that actually have knowledge and can teach the kids to their best ability. Get donations to help the countries in need of money to build schools and get the supplies needed for learning. Lower GDP of education because some countries may have to much GDP of education. Donate to organizations that work to improve education, volunteer and spread the world of the problem. To help prevent the lack of education we can donate to multiple organizations. Send teachers and people to help construct a school for children in need of education.
